Who is Your Resume Partners?

We are a well-established resume writing/career coaching firm in New York City, established in 1992, with a commitment to our clients and the career industry. We are certified by the Professional Association of Resume Writers.

What is the process for resume writing?

Everything we do is personalized to create a custom resume. If you live in the Greater New York area, we can schedule an appointment in our local office at 124 E. 40th Street, Ste. 403 or a telephone consult at 212-697-4004. During the consultation, we will interview you with regard to your career goals, work history, education, and challenges. Additional materials will be sought out such as an existing resume, notes, supporting documentation, performance evaluations, and other information. We will research keywords in your industry for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). In addition, we will ask you to submit several links to jobs that you are interested in in order to better target your resume.

Once this initial process is completed, we will schedule a pick-up appointment for you to come in person or for us to email you a draft. You will have a chance to go over the resume for changes with opportunity for two sets of revisions. Once this process is completed, you will receive Word, PDF, and hard copy formats.

What is the time factor in obtaining a completed resume?

Once we have all the documentation returned to us, we typically have a draft within 3-4 business days. We also offer rush service for an additional fee.

Do you have expertise in incorporating keywords into resumes, and optimizing resumes for employers’ software?
